Jamaica Clifton Mount Blue Mountain No.1 Washed Coffee
Sourced from the renowned Clifton Mount Estate in Jamaica’s Blue Mountain region, this coffee is one of the finest representations of authentic Blue Mountain coffee. Grown at elevations exceeding 1,000 meters, the cool climate, fertile volcanic soil, and abundant rainfall nurture a well-balanced specialty bean. Strictly adhering to the standards of the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB), only high-quality Arabica (Typica variety) cultivated between 910-1,700 meters can bear the prestigious "Blue Mountain No.1" designation.
Processed using the washed method, the coffee cherries are pulped and fermented for 18-36 hours before being sun-dried, resulting in dense, low-defect beans. When roasted to a medium-dark level, it delivers the classic Blue Mountain profile: a silky, full-bodied mouthfeel with notes of dark chocolate and caramel sweetness, bright citrus acidity, and a nutty finish, leaving a clean and lingering aftertaste. Each green bean is hand-selected, making it a perfect choice for coffee connoisseurs who seek harmony and refinement.
Medium Roast Flavor Profile
The medium roast preserves the elegant balance of Blue Mountain No.1 while highlighting the subtle terroir of its origin.
