Colombia Margarita Sherry Cask Whisky Washed

This coffee comes from high-altitude Margarita estate in Colombia. It undergoes traditional washed processing followed by sherry cask whisky aging, creating a distinctive barrel-aged coffee experience.

The sherry cask imparts rich whisky notes that beautifully complement the clean transparency of the washed process. Cupping reveals prominent sherry whisky aroma with dark chocolate and toffee, followed by roasted walnuts, dried fruits, vanilla and subtle oak. The finish is long with red sugar sweetness and silky dark chocolate. Soft rounded acidity, full sweetness, and harmonious barrel-aged complexity.

Rias uses a medium-dark roast to showcase the sherry barrel character and sweetness. Excellent in pour-over, cold brew, and espresso.
