Honduras Masagua Sherry Barrel Fermentation
This coffee comes from Masagua Estate in Honduras, processed with Sherry Barrel Fermentation, infusing rich sherry character and complex layers into the cup.
Sherry barrel fermentation develops charming winey notes and sweet dried fruit character. Cupping notes are rich and warm: prominent sherry aroma with dried fruit (raisin, fig) sweetness, followed by dark chocolate, spices and red sugar warmth, ending with lingering oak and silky cocoa. The acidity is soft and rounded, with full sweetness and perfect harmony between barrel and coffee.
Rias uses a medium-dark roast to showcase the sherry barrel character and sweetness. Excellent in pour-over, cold brew, and espresso.
