Honduras Mocha Estate Lichilan Brandy Barrel Fermentation
This coffee comes from Mocha Estate in Honduras, using the Lichilan lot processed with Brandy Barrel Fermentation. It is a distinctive barrel-aged experimental coffee with outstanding flavor character.
Brandy barrel fermentation infuses rich spirit aroma and complex layers. Cupping notes are rich and enchanting: prominent brandy aroma with lychee orchid tropical floral-fruit notes, followed by tropical fruit, vanilla and cocoa warmth, ending with lingering winey sweetness and silky aftertaste. The acidity is soft and rounded, with full sweetness and perfect harmony between barrel and coffee.
Rias uses a medium-light to medium roast to showcase the barrel character and fruit aroma. Excellent in pour-over, cold brew, and espresso.
