This coffee comes from the Getuya washing station in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, an AA TOP grade washed lot. Kirinyaga, located on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya, is known for its fertile volcanic soil and high-altitude environment, a key specialty coffee region. AA TOP indicates the largest bean size with top cup quality.

Traditional Kenyan washed processing (often with double fermentation) delivers clean, bright flavors. Cupping notes are classic and lively: prominent black currant and citrus upfront, followed by berry and honey sweetness, finishing with delicate florals and soft cocoa aftertaste. Acidity is bright and lively, with refreshing balanced sweetness and excellent clarity — like drinking fresh black currant juice.
