Ethiopia Guji Banko Gotiti Geisha G1 Natural
Product Summary
Grown in the legendary "Banko Gotiti" area of Guji at an extreme altitude of 2,500–2,600 meters, this Geisha G1 Natural undergoes African bed drying for intense fruit complexity. Expect explosive tropical aromas of passionfruit, mango, and peach, layered with rose and violet florals, finishing with muscat grape and fermented wine notes.
Processing Method
African Bed Natural Process:
Fully ripe cherries are selectively harvested and evenly spread on raised beds.
Sun-dried slowly for 21–30 days with regular turning to ensure even fermentation.
Maximizes sugar retention and aromatic complexity, yielding vibrant fruit notes and intense sweetness.
Flavor Profile
Aroma: Bold passionfruit, mango, and peach, evolving into rose and violet florals, with a deep muscat grape and wine-like finish.
Mouthfeel: Bright, juicy citrus acidity with a "fruit jam" body—rich, syrupy, and sustained sweetness.
Background Highlights
Sourced from the acclaimed Banko Gotiti micro-region in Guji, this Ethiopian Geisha exemplifies top-tier natural processing. Its exceptional terroir expression has earned recognition in international coffee competitions.
